Hi Menion
First of all. I can't understand - do you never sleep? ☺
Anyway...
The picture in the link is the right spot.
Maybe I am a little bit confused myself. I am sorry if so. I now have tried again many times. Sometimes I am lucky to be able to move a point after pointing it 2-3 times. I can't remember it was that hard before...
Another thing is an irritating line coming from the endpoint, even if you're about to change one point in the beginning of the track. This is very useful if you want to extend the track and make longer. Can't see the use of it else.
Included are two pictures describing what happens if you by accident "click" in the wrong place. If the track are rather long (40-50km) and You have been editing a lot in detail it can be annoying to click on "cancel". Of course you can click "Ok" very often (saving parts)
Anyway, I can live with these little things as they are - because the entire application so fantastic.
Thanks!
/Göran

Good day Göran,
I'm glad you like and use Locus Map app!
During last few months, we are working on completely new separate screen with route planner feature. What happen you, is probably side effect of many changes. I'll check touch area of these points, anyway in new planner with be undo/redo buttons, so problems that happen by accident movements or change of points will be easily fixed by "undo" button.
Thanks for a feedback!

Hi again
Has installed new version 3.25.2
Just a quick comment - not for all improvement as you did - but only the matter we discuss here. I can't see any change in the matter. When I try to a see point in editing a track, there is on reaction as there have been some times ago. I can't focus on it. I have to point at a green point and after some try I can edit location via "edit location" and "select on map". A long way around and not as good as before. Sorry to "bother" with this. /best from Göran

Good evening Göran,
may you describe it a little better? When you place two "green" points on map (connected by line), you should be able to grab both green or a red point (in the middle) and move it where you need. This does not work for you as expected?

Oh you are quick, very quick to answer - thank-you! Appreciate this.
To begin I would like to notice you that I am using Locus - often - when I am drawing "ruff" routes for my boating at lake Vänern in Sweden. After the "ruff" one I examine the track and do changes in order to avoid ground and stones, etc. The editing - I've done this for some years - and do like Locus cause it has been so easy to manage by just "point and drag" a point. No matter green or red points.
After that I export the track to my Garmin plotter in the format of gpx.
Now this isn't as smoth any longer - sorry to say.
1 activate a track. Modify track
2 insert/edit trackpoint. Chosing a red point - no response
3 have to chose a green point. In the alert window I can chose the track or the point, so I chose the point
4 edit location or delete. I chose edit
5 in next window I chose select on map
6 back on map I can choose a new place for the point. Puuhhh
Do I do anything wrong? This isn't as good as just grab any point and just move it.

Good day Göran,
I'm little confused as there should be no bigger change in latest version(s) compare to previous system.
Are we talking about these green and red points like on this screenshot? If so, then red dots were never clickable, but you may drag them by finger. You may click on green dots and remove them or set precise location, or also drag with fingers.
You wrote in second point "no response". This mean that red dot does not react on click ( which is correct ) or it even does not react on drag? By drag I mean just one tap on map on point and finger still kept on screen, moving on wanted place.
Sorry if I write like for "small child". My English is not perfect and I want to describe it in detail.

Good morning Göran,
sure I sleep .. not much :).
Anyway it looks that it works, but it is just a little hard to correctly select and drag a point right? It is correct that selection was little changes and maybe a touch area is now a little smaller. I'll test it little more, but no one except you complains on this, which was till now confirmation that it's ok.
As I wrote before, we are currently working on completely new route planner, so please live with current system for next few months and if there will be any problem in new planner, let me know. Thank you!

Hello again Menion
Now I have used the new routeplanner for a while.
I feel more and more comfortable with it.
Now to a reflection:
* I have drawn a route manually between some existing points. Afterwards I want to change it a bit and start with "modify track" and the ""track editor" starts with it's facilities. But... my predefined points disappears!
Bad, because I miss some references.
The points/references appears again when I finish editing.
Is it possible to "fix it"?

Hello
Ok, I try that one
Another try wit a new "route". I save it. I want to change some of the points and I choose "Routeplanner".
I do my changes and I just want to save the particular track (route) with the same name in the same folder. The option is to give it a new name... If I don't remember the existing name and want to overwrite it - I now have two routes and have to delete the other one.
Even if I remember the original name, I get two files with the same name and aI still have to delete on of them
All this is a little to much confusing...
Why can't I just use the "Modify track" and save it - AND - be able to see my own Points while editing
Thank's

Hello again..
Sorry to interrupt your steady work to make better and better performance for us users.
About the "routeplanner", which you want me to use when editing a recorded track:
I'm sorry - again - to say I can't get familiar to it. This day I went a trip for some kilometers and now I just want to edit the recorded track. Move some points to a different position while I still can see my own points at the same time.
On the track there is now two defined shapingpoints: 1 start and 2 stop.
I now want to move some of the points between.
I start to point to a specific part, "trackpoint" and while pushing again I get a new "shapingpoint" with the number 3. I regret it and instead point at the menuarrow and get the question: "change to navigation or shapingpoint?" I choose shapingpoint. Now I try to move it. The whole track is deformed into three straight lines...
Another option is to "edit location". A slow way to do it.
Sorry this is not a way to work for me
As I mentioned before in earlier mail: the tools in the track editor is sufficient. Just want to be able to se my own points of interest at the same time while editing. Like it has been in earlier version.
This would be great.
Is it possible?

Good day,
I was never writing that for fixing some problems of recorded tracks should be used Route planner!! Exactly for these cases is made Track editor.
You wrote that you wants to move some recorded points to better place, this may be easily done in track editor. Why in these cases you need to see also your other points? You recorded a track and now you wants to fix this recorded track, so why should I need to see some other data on map, when it will only slow and complicate my "editing task"?

Hello,
yes, but I was reacting on your "I have drawn a route manually between some existing points", so I was reacting on fact, that you was modifiing manually created track in app, where we should expect that you will use it later for navigation or sharing with friends. Editing track after recording to fix some problems caused by GPS, is completely different use-case.
Anyway I understand you point. Task is simple: Display already visible points/tracks also in track editor. As I see in list of topics tagged with "track editor", there is no such topic, so for me it means there is no interest in such feature, sorry.

Hello Menion
Thank’s for quick response
Ok. Here’s the problem/ my wish
The first picture is showing track and desired Point.
Depending on bad GPS for that moment, the track is not so precise and afterwards, at home, I want to move som Points in the track to meet the desired Point
… but…
the Point is not shown and I can’t know where to move Points.
Like in some older version of Locus – before we got the fantastic ”Route Planner” – you could move Points in a track to existing Points of interest. You could see them at the same time while ”Modifying”
I would appreciate this ability again, very much.
Perhaps with a On/Off Setting in ”Maps/Advances features” and choose ”On/Off” or something alike
Thank’s for Your understanding and I hope You can rest a while ’cause now it’s saturday evening 😊

Good evening,
thanks, perfectly clear. I think you need exactly this: http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/one-last-opinion-for-the-moment .
Give it a vote and I'll look at it during next few weeks ;).
