Cadence data from internal acceleration sensor?
Answered
Many phones have acceleration sensors and do measure steps per day.
Would it be possible to record the internal sensors data like it's done with BT sensors and have cadence?
Hi,
Locus can display values of a mobile internal step counter (you just need to set it up in the track recording panel or dashboard). Pedalling cadence is something different and technically it must always be monitored by an external sensor mounted on a bike (crank).

Hm , found the display of steps and step frequency for dashboard and panel, but my phone (Honor 8) doesn't display any value? As far as I can tell, it has no dedicated step counter, but acceleration sensor..Different apps like runzi, GPS Status, etc do display steps and even are able (runzi is), to record frequency and even impact force.
So how am I able to record frequency with the track as with external sensor data?

Ah, sorry, my mistake... Thought this idea http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/pedometer_stepcounter has already been implemented.
