Is there a service that shows "live tracking" as a track, not just as a single point position?

is there a service that shows Locus "live tracking" as a "track" (i.e. a multi-segment line), not just as a single point position, or a constellation of previous positions?

Hi Tristan,

we're working on such service but until it is ready, there is a third party solution, via GPSies.com website - check http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:live_tracking#web_services

thanks. I tried GPSies, but it looks like they display live-tracking just as a constellation of positions, not like a tracking "line" passing through all those position points in the right order.

Then I'm sorry, Locus, for the time being, can't record track via live tracking.

I've used LocaToWeb app and webpage occasionally..

Maybe you can use this service until implemented in Locus.

Hello Tristant if you have your own server you can use the files attached

I just copied this https://github.com/Cyclenerd/Latrine

from perl to php, and add the fonction to show the track

to use it:

- donwload and put the files on your server like /var/www/live

- go here to configure your Locus (only step 4) https://github.com/Cyclenerd/Latrine

- go to http://myserver/live/#key where "key" is what you defined in the previous step

Files: live.zip

Hi, @yunorasp

I can't get your script to work :-)

It gets data, when url in locus is live/latrine.php, but locus does not recognize as valid sent data (counts errors instead!?), whereas the files latlon & geojson gets created and filled?

Does locus need a receipt?

Together with that I'm unable to view my location although data is there with: server/live/#KEY?

Would be nice if you could help me out :-)

I combined both, original & version from here to a new one:

Try, if you like
