Location for in-track defined points

Hi all.

I'm new to this excellent program and use it few weeks for ATV trips tracks recording.

My question regards adding points when track is recording. When i push REC tab on map and then "add point" graphical icon i see add point menu shown on first screenshot. There is no option to change point place to save.

But when i just tap on any place on screen or use menu-points-add i can change point location(screenshot 2). Also when i navigate on recorded tracks and select point previously added via "add point graphical icon" i cant see "copy-to" for copy point to desired location (screenshot 3).5676a1980a11af618026235e3c330044

Good day Grigory,

I'm not perfectly sure what is your question. Anyway in this case it is needed to see a difference between these two points.

Point on screen 1 is attached to track itself, where track on screen 2 is separate point store in point database. Point attached to track is visible only when track is visible, cannot be moved to any point folder or hide etc. On second side, as I wrote it is show and hidden and also export together with track.

Anyway please specify your question more precisely, if what I wrote did not gave you an answer.

My question as I can see is most likely feature request. By now I can't copy points attached to track to database without tricks with export and import. I think ability to do this by adding copy-to menu for track attached points will be very usable. I think also it's very usable to allow users to make decision where save points when user tap add-point command from track recording menu.

Hello,

fine, understand. In this case, it is more sub-idea for this task http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/is-there-a-list-of-waypoints-in-a-track . To be able what you wants, it's firstly needed some "manager" for attached waypoints to track, which is right in mentioned idea. Thanks for understanding.

Menion,

Thanks for assistance.

Yes topic you shared is exactly what i told about.

But there is one year old idea :(

But its ok. Now i know that using fast waypoint button is more usable in my case.

Lucus is really the best.
