Locus Map Pro is running perfectly on Samsung Dex. This is so great and a very big help for planning.
Thank you for you information about Samsung Dex. We are happy that Locus run perfectly on this device.
In case of questions or troulbes, please contact me.
I'm afraid I can't share the experience. In my case, Locus Pro is only displayed on the big screen in mobile phone mode - and this is much more blurred. I don't know where you could set something to use Locus Pro on a big screen in full-screen. Be very grateful for your support.
In the Samsung Dex adjustments you have to select the option "Samsung Dex Labs".
Then you have to remove your phone from the Dex station and put it back to the Dex station in order to apply the change.
Then it should work.
My software version does not offer me exactly this configuration option. That's extremely sad. I have contacted Samsung support - let's see if that works.
Nothing more is possible
I have red in the internet that the option "Dex labs" is only available for the note 8 version.
I have a note 8.
Best would be if Locus would adapt it generally for Samsung Dex.
I think this will be a growing market as also Huawei Mate 10 pro has a desktop mode.
The desktop mode is now implemented in Android.
This is what Samsung told me:
"Thank you for contacting us. We are pleased to be of service to you. You have contacted us regarding Samsung DeX or Locus Pro. With regard to your request, we would like to inform you that not all applications offer the possibility to edit the screen size. For more information, please contact the application developers."
Unfortunately, the DeX Labs I have mentioned explicitly is not mentioned. However, it seems plausible that this may be reserved for Notes 8. I would really be interested to know whether Locus is planning an adjustment.

Just ask the helpdesk (Hana) to do this!
Apparently Locus Pro can only be displayed on the Samsung DeX with a Galaxy Note 8 in full screen on the monitor. I am using an S8, this does not work there. Is it intended for you to adjust Locus accordingly? I would be very pleased.
There is a request from Helmut Maher.
