Can you add the function to have time to next waypoint (at current speed) available in the dashboard please.

You already have time to destination but time to next waypoint would be very useful too.

regards,

Brian.

I probably made the original post at a bad time to get noticed, but will it only be considered if other people vote for it?

Good day Brian,

every topic is read and noticed, but because of number of requests ( http://help.locusmap.eu/topics/idea/status/all/category/all/sort/popular/page/1 ), only a small amount of them is in the end implemented.

If there will be interest from more people, I may look on this task. For now it just have to wait if will be lost in hundreds of others or not, sorry.

This would be a very useful feature, i'm surprised it doesn't exist already!

I think this function would be helpful - particularly on lakes.

Would love to see this added for use on the Shannon river and lakes

This would be a big step towards me being able to totally replace my chartplotter with Locus

Or / and time to a POI. Use-case: navigate along a track. Then you see time/distance to destination. It would be nice to select a point like restaurant, beer garden. Then you see time/distance to that intermediate destination. After target reached jump back to display time/distance to destination again.

To be realised by extra function navigation ?

http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:navigation

Distance to target (3) (default)

Time to target (4) (default) - estimated time calculated upon average speed

Time of arrival - estimated arrival time calculated upon average speed

* Distance to next Via Point. (NEW)

* Time to next Via Point. (NEW) - estimated time calculated upon average speed

Time to next junction - time to the next crossroads direction change

Time - device clock

Altitude - current altitude of the user, calculated from GPS or device barometer

Speed - current speed
