What program can convert dem to hgt?

Hello

I am trying to use a 5m resolution DEM file as altitude data, but it cannot be used in Locus Map because the extension is *.dem.

So I need to convert it to the hgt (srtm) file used in the locus map, but I can't figure out the converting program

What program can convert dem to hgt?

Hi,

please try QGIS https://www.qgis.org and export to HGT format (.hgt is a format for SRTM mission data).

It seems that also this web tool is able to export DEM to .hgt format. https://mygeodata.cloud/converter/geotiff-to-hgt
