I have good 1:10000 map in androzic ozfx3 map format. Is there any possibility to import that map into locus pro? I would like to use one app and uninstall androzic.

You have to convert the map.

Can you attach a small example of a OziExplorer map?

...or try MAPC2MAPC

Hi,

only way is to convert the map as gynta wrote. Locus does not support mentioned format.

Thank you for understanding

pity... i tried to use that as an overlay on the map but image is to large, refreshing is horrible and i have 14 pcs like that:( the best way is to make map with zoom layers, but i dont have experience and software to do such things :(

Hello Ulmus,

I do not know what exactly you tried to do, but I may only sugest to run VirtualBox in Linux. Then there will be no problem running mapc2mapc or any other win software.

And I may only confirm what Gynta and Petr told. There is no other way then convert OZI maps to some easier readable format for now.

Since mapc2mapc is not free, i won,t pay money to convert one map, i can still use androzic. Maybe i will find someone to convert and then i could unisntall unnecessary app :)

If it's really just ONE map, send me a download link.

So I will send you back the map

like this already converted map:

gynta: God bless You! :) definitely i will use that opportunity. I will

send you link soon (when upload is done) but i saw that calibration is

not good, few seconds differential.

And that map has 14 pieces like that one already you have converted.

If you could be so kind and would make one map from those 14 tiles without unnecessary borders on each then i will be grateful.

Sorry mate, but those are 14 maps - i talk about ONE :)

and crop? join?

Feel free to send me ONE map to calibrate.

What i have done:

Starting a batch to load and save 14files as sqlitedb

-> https://www.dropbox.com/s/nihmwt0gq5aay1g/tatry10k.rar

As you wrote, calibration .map files are strange. (wrong map date format?)

If you still want to use this files, I recommend to use the function "map_overlay" and "map_offset".

Thank you very much for your help! I will use those maps for now.

In week or two i will try to cut, crop and join all tiles into one image/map. If my knowledge allows, i will try create sqlite database with some sqlite manager and graphics editor. Maybe it will go... :) first i have to know the database map structure...

I looked into database and it seems not too complicated.

I know and i can already calculate slippy map x,y coordinates but dont know how zoom 4,3,2,1 (in database i have) is 13,14,15,16 in locus :( i cannot find any info how calculate zoom from slippy map calculated number to seen in sqlitedb table :(

now i have to join all tiles, add white space around whole map to meet whole tile numbering system and split such image into tiles, save to database. :)

I think that i will make only one image with proper white space around to meet tile numbering vs lon and lat and send it to you to convert into sqlitedb. I think if i good calculate width and height of image then will be no calibrate error.

Zoom number in SQLITEDB is 17- (slippy zoom) - if the map is large scale, some apps allow this to be negative!

MAPC2MAPC will do all you need - including padding to whole tiles and merging several maps into one SQLITEDB

In sqlitedb i can see values in table from 4 to 1 but in locus i can see from 13 to 16.

Exactly : 17-13=4; 17-14 = 3 and so on..
