Basic Line Style with Route Transparent

I noticed the small black directional arrows remain the same size no matter what I do for basic line style with route transparency. Is there any way to make them larger? I noticed changed the route width to a large number than the default doesn't change the default black arrows size either for navigation.

I'm providing an attachment to show what I'm talking about. I have it transparent so I can still see the direction and colors of the other tracks, but have the black arrows visible for navigation to and from the other tracks.
