What do red/yellow/green circle/squares mean in satellite map?

When I open the satellite latitude/Longitude view then on the map a lot of
red/yellow/(seldom: green) satellites as ciclres or squares are displayed.
What is the difference of the colors?
What is the difference of the shapes?
