Add new roads (tracks) as extensions of existing roads

I would like to add routable roads (tracks?) to the end of existing roads so that I can then get voice turn-by-turn directions on the new roads I added as extensions of the existing roads. Is that possible? If so, how? I played with the "add new route and measure" tool but I can't get it to work like that. I can navigate only along the new route, but it won't "connect" from an existing road.

there is possible to merge tracks in "Data manager". So please, create a new track which you would like connect to existing track and open "Data manager".
1. Select your tracks by ticking in tracks folder.
2. Select "Merge tracks" in a list of settings (button on the right side of the bottom panel)
3. Confirm "Merge tracks"

That process would be just what I am looking for if I could merge a track that I added with a road from the basemap.
