Yes, that was the way I did in earlier a version.

Now I first must switch to the GPS-mode then the 3 symbols at the bottom will appear.

Very frustrating when you want locus still running but want to switch to another app.

that seems to be caused by an incorrect fullscreen mode on your device. Either check your device screen settings or turn fullscreen mode off in Locus settings > controlling > display.

(Btw in the Swedish Menu when you will exit Locus it should be "Avsluta" and not "Avfart"
