Loosing correct connection to bluetooth heartrate belt

Jörg Sprenger shared this problem 4 years ago
Solved

Hello

I am using a Bluetooth Heartrate-belt of Berry King. With my Sony Z5c, no problem

appeared. With the new Sony XZ2, the belt connects one time, but for next using, autostart fails and I have to disconnect it and have to find it once again inside lm-bloothmanager. In between 1 second, new connection is established well.

How can I help, to debug this problem?

Regards, Joska

Good day Joska,

interesting problem. You have defined auto-start in your track recording profile? Is there any error message after you start track recording, that notifies about this issue?

What then helps to solve it? You just open the Bluetooth Manager and turn off/on Bluetooth 4 HRM sensor? Or you need to click on "Remove association" in the sensor tools menu?

Hello Menion.

Hello Menion. It is, as you suspected, the autostart option is enabled, Bluetooth off \ on does not succeed, I have to first remove the Bluetooth HRM and then search again. Then it is found promptly and works as expected.

No error-message appears.

Good day Joska,

thank you for additional information. It looks like a very complicated problem to solve. Can you imagine to install special Locus Map Free version I may prepare for you and do the same test with this version? I may prepare a version that will print into text file some information, that may help us track a reason for this issue.

Thank you and sorry for complications.

Hello Menion.

I agreed with your suggestion. Where do I have to download the prepared version?

Hello Jörg, two years old topic so I'm not sure if you still face this problem. A few months ago, Locus Map 4 version (previously Locus Map Free) was published with a completely new sensors manager, where a few problems were solved. You may give it.

Hello Menion

In the meantime I use a different hardware (with LM 4) and I am no longer concerned with this problem.

Good luck with locus and all the ugly pitfalls of Google :-)
