JOHNTHORN mapping not working since the new upgrade

Solved

I tried re-downloading the John Thorn mapping, but only the Locus vector map displays.

Dear John,

I'm sorry for troubles. The JohnThorn maps have own custom theme but there is bug in the latest version and it's needed to change also the theme if you change the John Thorn map.

Please use GB_Style (or US_Style for us JohnThorn maps) , how to change the theme is described https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_locusmaps#switching_map_themes

In the next version will be issue fixed and Locus select proper theme when you select JohnThorn map

As of today, 31 Jan 2022, this bug is still in Pro v3.56.5. It tries to use GB_Style.xml but reports a problem and fails to use it.

Hello,

I think that the issue you described isn't related to the original problem.

Anyway, there is really some problem and we'll check it. Please select the JohnThorn Map and please select the GB style manually when the warning dialog appears.
