Locus Pro 3.1.1 crashes on Android 2.2 (Samsung GT-I9000)

Martin Zejma shared this problem 9 years ago
Solved

I've just installed the 3.1.1 version, but it keeps crashing on startup with exception java.lang.NoSuchMethodError (java.lang.string.getbytes).

I've already tried to uninstall it completely, also with renaming its directory.

As first fix, where can I get the previous 3.1.0 version, cause it worked without any problems for me?

And where and how can I send some crash dump files?

TIA, Martin

Good day Martin,

I just received same report over email together with log file. You have device with Android 2.2 right? If so, then issue is now solved.

Becuase of this issue and some other smaller problems, there will be one more version of Locus during next week. If you need older version (which probably worked for you), here is post with working links

Hello Menion,

thx for the quick reply.

Yes the crash Report files might have been mine at least the Android Version is 2.2.1.

I installed the mentioned apk-file, and at least my Locus works again.

Kind Regards, Martin
