I would like to reuse quick point definitions

I'm using quick point definitons for fast species localisation. I would like to backup my definitions, bring them from 3 to 4 and possibly re-use and share my definitions on other devices and to other people. Can I do this? If there is no functionality for this, is it possible to copy a specific file in which these are stored to achieve this?

I have searched a bit on the site and in the forum but could not find this

Thanks in advance,

Hello,

definitions are stored in ".../Locus/data/config/quick_add_point.lb" file.

Have a nice day.

Thank you very much.

Which format are the .lb files?

Hello,

it is an internal Locus library file.

If you share this file with someone, he can replace his own file with yours and will have your definitions.

Also keep in mind that if you use a custom icon, that person must have the icons installed as well.

Hello Zdenek,

Thank you for your swift reply. This is exactly what I need. Good to know about the icons. I was wondering if I could open or even make these files with for instance an text editor, fme or other software, but cant figure out the structure. Can you advise on this, or is this not possible?

Thank you,

Arnoud

Hello,

for sure I contacted our main developer.

This file is not manually editable. Sorry.
