TomTom Amigo not listed as navigation app in Locus

Hello,

like in this thread (https://help.locusmap.eu/topic/23456-amigo-missing-in-navigation-appllications) I want to use TomTom Amigo as navigation app. But in Locus in a waypoint under "Navigation-Apps" the app Amigo isn't listet. Only Google Maps or Waze which are installed on my phone.

In the 13 month old thread Michal Stupka said, that this is a problem from TomTom. But in other smartphone apps like C:Geo or the stock contact app from andriod I can choose Amigo to navigate to an specific adress. So Amigo is recognized by the phone, but not by Locus.

Is it perhaps a problem in locus after all?

Greetings

Hello Daigers,

if you open a point detail and click at the bottom to the "Navigation > Navigation apps", isn't TomTom AmiGo in the list of available apps?

Hello Menion,

sorry for my late answer. I don't get a notification of your answer.

Correct. Under "Navigation apps" TomTom AmiGo isn't in this list. In other apps TomTom Amigo is listed.

Tomtom development seems to be really intransparent when it comes to technical things. I wasn't able to find info on this as well. Other apps (Google Maps, Tomtom Go, Huawei Petal Maps) have intent support, sometimes even documented. But not Tomtom IIRC. They have crappy and useless webpages and this kind of Apple vibe, where users aren't expected to ask technical questions, but rather stupid and simple usage questions. There you can do what you see, everything else is not possible and part of their world.

Hello,

understand, thanks. I'm trying to find some more info if this TomTom app supports any kind of inter-app commuication. And unfortunately, I'm unable to find anything. And it is interesting to be true, because what app do when you tap on the "Navigation apps" is the most basic method that should every navigationa app support.

So sorry, I have no solution on this problem as it seems to be limitation of the TomTom app. Thanks for understanding.
