Pay LM4 subscription with Locoins

Hello Locus team

LM4 will soon be one year old, for me it is no question to renew my Gold subscription.

But until now I only know the payment via Googleplay.

Here, however, I have no credit, whereas in the Locus store quite a few Locoins lie and as an owner of the Gold subscription comes every month something in addition.

Please allow the users alternatively to pay the subscription with Locoins

Hello Wolfgang,

seems you read our internal road map quite well. We are already working on this task for a few months and this month will finally begin implementation in the Android client. Our goal is to have this fully working, in the worst case, till the end of March/2022. Wish us luck ;).

you seem to be really early user of the Gold, even in the moment, it was not yet officially published because we started to sell the app at 30. March 2021 :). Anyway back to the topic. We have of course a delay, unfortunately. During the next 14 days will be published version with the option to purchase a time-limited premium over Google Play and hopefully by the end of April will be published version with a premium over voucher or LoCoins.

I'm thinking about what may I do for you now and there are not many options right now. Probably best if you cancel current subs a wait max. a month in the Free mode?

interesting because of exchange rate perhaps, with google repeat subscription its £20.99/year, but with locoins because of bulk disocount of buying 1060 locoins for £9.63, the 2100 locoins works out at about £19.07

so cheaper than google...

Price was computed by Petr and is based on average price per single LoCoin that user pay monthly. But with these higher values, it logically cause this small difference. As I wrote on more places, this "feature" is made mainly for people who already has a bunch of un-used LoCoins or receive LoCoins from us as gifts.

Interesting, lets see what happens next year, usefull way to use up google play store credit as the google rewards credit expires after a year, and buying locoins would be a good way to sue up before google credit expires...

with the 50 coins a month, I cant see myself using that on anything on the store at the moment as im not interested in OS maps...

So i hope the buy subscription wiyth coins will remain....

It will remain for sure. Just careful : bonus of 50LC/month was replaced by the new satellite maps. We found that sat. maps are quite expensive and there is still close to no usage for LoCoins, so we decided to change this "bonus".
