Instant route between two locations

I am probably missing something obvious but I can't find it in the manual.

How do I initiate a route between two locations (e.g. towns)? I want to say "start at town A, make a route to town B".

I see lots of options for editing and adding points, but I don't want to have to drag out the route manually to begin with. How do I ask Locus to do that?

Hello,

if you want it for navigation, you can directly start navigation, without previous planning. "Menu > Navigate to" - Just set the starting point and destination and enter the desired mode of transport.

And if you want to plan the route, open the planner and again - add only these two points - Locus then calculate best route between these points according to the selected transportation.

Hi

Thanks for that answer, I have not used navigation since then and only now following this.

I have Menu - Navigate to - Set Destination.

Where is Set starting point?

Hello,

app automatically use your position as a starting point because this is for what is navigation usually used.

But you can change it. If you press the button next to starting point you can choose for example some of your saved point.

But in my opinion in this case is maybe better use the route planner, than navigation.

Ok thanks. I suppose I must first save the start as a new point, that would work.

You can select from the map also.

Give it a try and let me know if you need more information.

Have a nice day.
