Offline maps on SD card for Android 12

Is it still possible on recent Android versions to use maps which are saved on an external sd card and not on the internal storage?

I am thinking of getting a new phone and this would decide if I could get 128GB+Card or a 256GB model.

Hello,

since Android 11, apps have to use their own private folders in the "Android/data..." directory.

If there is external memory in the phone, then the "Android/data..." folder is on the SD card too and you can choose what storage you use.

You have to set this directory in the Locus settings and also we recommend using external storage for maps and srtm data only. The core of Locus should be always in internal memory for the best performance.

If you need more information, feel free to ask.
