Hi! Is it possible to edit points on Locus map (Online and Offline) for all users? Or it is only for me? For example: on openstreetmap you can add new information for all users.

Thank you!

Hello,

all the content of LoMaps comes from OSM. So even this bench is mapped by the community.

All map content is updated in online LoMaps within 24 hours. Points are generated separately and could have a longer delay. Offline maps are generated approx. every three (four) months, but it took some time to collect and generate data, so if you change something right before the update, it could be not implemented in it.

Hello,
LoMaps are based on data from OpenStreet Maps (OSM).

So every change in the OSM appears in the LoMaps (in online LoMap within 24 hours).

Locus doesn't have any implementation of direct editing of OSM, but we have plans to change it and enable some way how to add points into OSM (no ETA yet).

At this time, you can add only OSM notes in Locus.

Zdeněk, thank you for your reply!

I understand that changes on OSM affects OSM layout in the app. I mean that on Locus Offline map I have some point, like on this screen - picnic site. How this point was created, by users or by Locus?

I also add point in OSM, but I can see it only in OSM layout, not on the "LoMaps" map.

I hope that explained it correctly :)

For points (restaurant, museum, parking lot, bench, shelter, etc.) you can use the app OSMGo.
