Opening Internally Stored Files

On my old phone (Android 10) I am able to open locally stored html files from POIs which I created using the attached file. I've set up the same file structure on a new phone (Android 12) but now get an error message that the file can't be found. Has something changed in either Locusmap or Android to cause this and, if so, is there any way round it. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Hi Claire

ive got the same problem, its an Android permissions issue with google store policies

try the AFA version from here

if you update it from the store, you will lose all files access.

Hello,

or you can put your files into the Locus main directory.

But there is another disadvantage, that regular file browsers can't reach it. You have to use Total Commander, Solid Explorer, or X-plore ... or manage the files via cable and PC.

The problem is if files are simply moved in to the locus folder, then the attachment links still wont be valid, what would be good is if there was a way to update the attachment links uri to something specied in locus settings

Thank you both for taking the trouble to reply. I've installed the AFA version and it's working fine now.
