How to set Auto Zoom Levels?

Stephan shared this question 9 years ago
Answered

I have a big full HD screen phone with own dpi settings.

I could remember that there was an option to set the Auto Zoom Level depending on speed.

The Auto Zoom is great an essential for bike and car navigation. But in Version 3.5.x I can't find these option any more.

Actual the Zoom Level is always to far. Too much small things on the screen for driving.

Any help possible?? Thanks so far.

Hello Stephan.

The Auto zoom feature is still in Locus app. Please run Locus - Menu - Settings - Map Advanced - Activate "Enable auto zoom" by checking checkbox

Yes, I know. But in previous Locus versions, there was an option for fine adjustment of the zoom level depending on the speed. Where the hell is that option gone??!?! ;)

Hello Stephen.

The function "Enable auto-zoom" is automatically now, it means that is not necessary to set any other advanced settings. Simply Allow auto-zoom function.

Yes, and that is exactly the problem.

It is too simple!!

The Zoom is always too far. When I stand on a junction with the car I can see nearly the whole city.

I would like to have the viewpoint closer!

Can you please add the old zoom options to one of the next Locus versions back?

And when I am walking, it zooms in too close (most of the time).
