Continue navigation from "entry point"

Gathering feedback

If I deviate from my route, I just want a notification (it already exists), and as soon as I'm back on my route, I want the navigation to continue from this "entry point". This isn't currently possible! To do this, I have to stop the current navigation and restart the route navigation—it's just tedious.
I don't want a recalculation—not even for any existing VIA points!

If I don't follow this procedure, I'll be shown where I am on the route, but no more navigation commands will be spoken, or the remaining distance will be displayed incorrectly because Locus apparently wants to guide me BACK to the "exit point" on my route (which is also visible because there will then be a red and a blue navigation arrow... one shows where I should return to, the other where I am – even if I've already reached the route again, but further towards the destination), adding this distance AND the distance still to be traveled from there...
This can be resolved by stopping the navigation and restarting it – it should work automatically, surely!

Hi
I don't get that behaviour myself.
Could you confirm what you have for the following settings:

"Navigation/Advanced Settings/Strict route following" - it should be OFF
"Navigation/Advanced Settings/Maximum deviation from the route"
"Guidance/Strict route following" - it should be OFF
"Guidance/Next route point distance"

Are you aware of the "Nearest point" option on the Navigation Control Menu ? This resets the targeted route point to be the nearest point. You should not have to restart navigation.

Thanks for the feedback 😀

Yes, it's all off

"Next route point distance" I will try it out.
