Cut part of track

Lucio Dal Pan shared this idea 11 years ago

It would be useful the ability of cutting tracks from point to point. Between the options when editing trackpoints I find "Remove all before" and "Remove all after", but when I need to cut a part of the track that I don`t want anymore (way mistakes, e.g.) I have to delete points one by one. Is there a way?

Thanks

Me too. I use Locus pro mainly to record tracks during travel. Almost every time I forget to pause recording when entering buildings. So I end up with a bunch of erratic track points in the middle of tracks. It's kind of PIA to delete them one by one. But as far as I understand I will lose some track information when I split the track, delete points at the beginning or end and then put the tracks together again?

I think with the new track point edit function, it was a good time to "bump"

I think that this feature may be super-useful! I also miss it sometimes already. On second side, it's not so easy to do and still just seven votes ;).

I agree. Very usuful feature. Please for eding point, add the ability to choose the point by the name. For example: "Go to point 32"

Hmm just 11 votes, but I've found a way to make it +- work. So thanks gynta, "bump" helped.

Implemented! ;)
