Tap+swipe up behaviour is reversed
Answered
Hello!
The standard iOS behaviour for maps is tap + swipe up = zoom in
But Locus map zooming it out.
This is super inconvenient due to years of “muscle memory” using iOS.
Could you please reverse the behaviour to be in align with apple guidelines?
Please see the video I recorded to fully understand what I mean
Andrii - do you mean just for the iOS version of LM? I'd guess Android users are happy with existing behavior from past 10 years?

Hi Andrii,
Interestingly, Google Maps for iOS uses the same zooming method as Locus Map: tap+swipe up to zoom out. However, the mapping library MapLibre, which our app (and many others) use, has this behavior hard-coded. We'll try to work around this and offer to change the zooming direction in Locus Map settings.

I have good news! I made changes directly to the external library to enable reverse direction for the quick zoom (also known as one-finger zoom), and my modifications have been accepted. Once a new version of the library is released, I will incorporate this change into the app. I can't provide an exact date for when this will happen, but I will keep you informed.
