While using AA device gets hot

Hi,
do others have the same issue?
I did some more testing in the past. My device gets so hot and then AA crashes. This happens e.g. after one hour of usage. No active navigation just displaying the map. There is no difference if its over the air or via cable connected.
With Google maps it gets warm after a longer time but there is no crash.
I have a Google Pixel 8 with latest Android version.

Hello Wolfgang,
give please a try also the new 4.30+ version. There was quite a lot of memory optimizations that should have effect also on the Android Auto system.
Google still refuses our AA version, so manual update over Google Drive is needed, sorry.
