Hi Joan,

the newest version brought a new system for loading LoPoints, uniting the offline and online databases. This new system requires update of offline LoMaps though. The "old" offline LoPoints from old LoMaps can be activated by the "Other POIs" button in the content panel:

Ok, so I have to pay to update...meh.

By the way, thanks for your help! I didn't know about highlighting categories on the lopoints. That's so cool feature!

Can we please get a LoPoint shortcut to add to the Set Functions Panel so that we don't have to get there via the Map Screen Content Panel (now that the Other POIs shortcut is pretty much defunct). Thanks

Why do you think the "Other POIs" in Map content panel is defunct?

Prior to the recent change with LoPoints, I used to hit the Other POIs shortcut (or whatever it was called then) and then select "Drinking Water" for instance, and I could see at a glance how close they were to my current location. Having now downloaded the new maps, I can't do this anymore as the current map is no longer listed in the drop-down list at the top of the screen (I'm not using AndroMaps points, etc). So that button no longer relates to LoPoints, and I have no need for it. I'd like to have a shortcut to LoPoints so I don't have to go through the Map Content button which previously I had hidden. Hopefully this explanation makes sense... The new workflow also doesn't appear to give me a distance, but I rather have to exit the LoPoints selection page, and then view the map to see which is closest; I'll get used to that change. Thanks

You have two options:

1) tap "LoPoints" in the map content panel > highlight on map > type "drink" > activate "drinking water" category - all POIs are highlighted on the map

2) tap "search" > type "drink" > tap "drinking water" category - POIs are hghlighted on the map + there's a list of them with directions and distance

Thanks Michal - I didn't know about that second option. Cheers
