Copy maps from laptop to handy sd card

LocusMap4:

I have saved all my maps locally on my laptop.

I have now copied all the maps from the laptop to the Android mobile phone's SD card in the mapsVector directory. After this process, I restarted the phone, but the maps are still not displaying.

Why do I have to download all the maps again?

What can I do to make it working?

Regards, Guido

Hi Guido,

please check the default path for the mapsVector directory in Locus settings > Backup&file system > File system manager > Set custom subdirectories. Is the the path set to the mapsVector on the external SD card?

Hi Michal

Yes it is: Hauptverzeichnis festlegen SD-Karte>Privater ordner in Android/Data

Eigene Unterverzeichnisse mapsVector/ Verzeichnis zuweisen App Standardeinstellung > /storage/9C33-6BBD/Android/data/

menion.android.locus/files/Locus/mapsVector

BTW this is the dir which I copy all my maps from my laptop.

And as I said after this procedure no maps where visible in Karten OFFLINE but after a few clicks in meine Bibliothek on different maps all maps has been visible again.

However there is another issue: If I make a Trackaufzeichnung this Aufzeichnung will go in home dir of meine Bibliothek and not into Tracks > Aufgezeichnet this is different to Locusmap Classic which is bad.

You can set this in the track recording profile. Didn't you transfer your settings from Classic?
