planning a route on a hike and get close to a road

Not a Problem

When I'm planning a route on a hike and get close to a road, it automatically follows the road and not my points, which can be several kilometers off. Instead of 200 meters, it can be 2,2 kilometers. This has worked without problems before and I don't remember changing anything.

Hi Jerker,

the router follows the available roads or paths according to your selected routing profile. If there is no path on the map, you have to use the manual mode for drawing the route:

Ah, thanks! I thought it wouldn't matter if you had hiking or manual, as long as I chose "the pen and the line".
