Good maps of Germany and Austria

Hi, I'm going to Austria for vacation. I'd like to use OpenStreetMap, but the tiles on this map sometimes load very slowly.
Does anyone know any good alternatives for Germany and Austria? Perhaps offline maps, but with enough detail.

If you have Locus already installed, you have LoMaps at your finger tip - vector maps, offline.
Or you can use OAM (OpenAndroMaps) with Locus, same way.
For your detail request: mind the themes and their switches for above vector maps.

Austria is available in one LoMap package. If you prefer OAM maps, there are also Alps available in three packages - West, East and Complete.

If you prefer OAM, it may still be useful to download LoMaps as well.
I only use OAM maps. But I always have the corresponding LoMaps as well. That way, I have the LoPoi offline and the offline addresses. However, this only makes sense if you have enough storage space.

Just click on Locus button on page and map will be automatically installed to Locus.
If you also install OAM as a second map you can use "other POIs" in Paws GCCZ map.
