Issue with cache of online maps
Solved
Although I enabled "cache maps", Locus does not save the tiles of online maps I visited. I can see that because the cache is always 0.0Mb and when I turn on "cached maps only" (or switch into flight mode) I get a blank screen, although I had the maps open seconds ago.
I already tried moving back from SD to internal memory but this did not help. See attached an example of the Swiss online map.
Hello Steffen,
sorry for complications, quite an unexpected problem. I have no clear explanation for this. It looks to me like somehow corrupted cache database of this map. May you please in the map manager > Swiss Topo > Hiking > tap on the three dot and choose "Clear map cache". This should delete the database cache file and hopefully solve this issue. Let me know.

Hello Menion, clearing cache did not help, but I found a workaround for my issue: after a new installation I kept the "maps online" folder in internal memory and moved the other folders (maps and vector maps) to my sd card. I am happy with this workaround although I cannot explain why this happens as I gave locus permission to access all folders on my phone. Sometimes Android is strange...
Cheers, Steffen

Hello Steffen,
so the issue was no just with the SwissTopo map, but with all online maps, interesting. "Sometimes Android is strange" > I can confirm this 😊.
I'm anyway glad you've solved it!
