Backup auf Google Drive Locus map 4

Credo di avere anche io lo stesso problema:

Locus 4.30.1 Smartphone Android 13.

Non riesco più a ripristinare un backup da Google Drive, Google blocca l'app:

"Questa app. è stata bloccata. Questa app. ha cercato di accedere a informazioni sensibili nel tuo account Google. Per proteggere il tuo account, Google ha bloccato l'accesso."

we're sorry for the inconvenience but Google has updated its app-certification terms and we have to restore the app verification. It'll be done in a few hours.

Hello Locus Map Support Team,

I am currently unable to back up my data to Google Drive too. (Locus 4.30.1 Android-Version 15) When I try to re-authorize Locus Map with my Google account, I receive the following error message from Google:

“This app is blocked. This app tried to access sensitive info in your Google Account. To keep your account safe, Google blocked this access.”

we are sorry for the inconvenience but as of September 1, 2025, we were forced to disconnect Locus Map and all our other applications from Google Drive because we were denied full access to the service. We are working on resstoring it, but it does not look like there will be a quick solution. However, you can access your backup via the system file manager:

Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to set up GDrive for backup, so please use Dropbox or OneDrive instead.

hello. If it's not possible, then the function has to go out. The day before yesterday I got the answer that it works in a few hours. Under LM 3 there was never such chaos. now LM 4 gold, I pay a lot more than LM 3 and it doesn't work. That's insufficient. More money - worse service and less performance.I'm still thinking about that.Incidentally, the backup of LM 3 in LM 4 did not work either. All routes and points: gone.

exactly, Googl Drive will be removed from Locus Map in the next version and new users or those who were logged out of the GDrive will not see the option. Please be aware that this is not our fault - Google has made its regulations stricter and our apps, formerly absolutely compliant, are blocked now.

We will continue negotiating with Google - we have already sent the app for re-validation and third-party certification. Until this is resolved, Google Drive will not be available in Locus Map.

After opening a ticket yesterday for precisely this reason, I now realize that this is a general problem. This, in itself, as well as the suggested solutions, are extremely unsatisfactory for an app for which I, as a "Gold" user, pay annually. For me, a satisfactory solution for cloud backup would be if a future version enabled the use of Nextcloud. In any case, I take Google's warning so seriously that I expressly reserve the right to cancel my subscription and use another app.
