GPS antenna lagging 5-6 seconds behind in Locus while tracking

Hi,

I am using a emlid RS3 to stream NMEA data over bluetooth. The antenna itself is working fine and i do receive a position in Locus which is very accurate. My issue is that it seems that the bluetooth stream is slightly delayed and i therefore get an older position showed while tracking a route. This is not an issue while moving slow, but when moving fast a turn can easily be missed. Do you have any recommendations?

I have tried re-installing everything and clearing caches, tried the bluetooth connection in multiple apps and only Locus seem to have this problem.
