KMZ support

Not a Problem

Hello!

I use Locus Pro on Samsung S3 with Open Street Map. Everytime I open an KMZ File, Locus says something like: There are not points to show.

How can I solve this problem?

Kind regards

Heinz

Hi

> I "open" means?

Tap on file inside a filemanager and import to Locus?

try to ...

- copy the file to Locus/mapItems/

- select kmz inside Locus -> datamanager -> Items

- leave data manager

Hi Gynta,

thank you for your answer!

tried both way, but it still doesn't work. I get a message like "File contains no points, open anyway?" When I open it it is invisible.

Kind regards

Hi Heinz,

i think there are too many subfolders

unzip your kmz and import the kml

Strange file... :(

...and why is it a kmz? There are no needed additional files and the kmz file format is wrong. Whatever Heinz, blame the producer of this file :)

find the simple *.kml file inside attached zip

Thank You for your help. So I blame it on Google Earth.

It looks as if I understood the problem.

Danke für den Hinweis, ich weiß schon, wie man ein KML bzw. ein KMZ erstellt. Schließlich habe ich schon Hunderte von (stillgelegten) Strecken erstellt.
