Error code 401 when trying to do backup

Hi there. For the last couple of weeks I have been unable to backup from Locus to my Google Drive. It was working perfectly until then, but now I just get an error "missing authentication credentials". I have tried logging out of Locus and back in again, and have also rebooted my phone a couple of times but I still get the same problem. Please can you help me, as I feel uncomfortable being able to back my app up.

Hello,

we are sorry for the inconvenience but as of September 1, 2025, we have been forced to disconnect Locus Map and all of our other apps from Google Drive because we have been denied full access to the service. We are working on a solution, but it does not look like it will be over soon. However, you can access your backup/export/import via the system file manager:

Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to set up GDrive for backup or other features, so please use Dropbox or OneDrive instead.

Sorry to hear this Michal. What a pain! Anyway I have switched my auto backup from Google Drive to One Drive and it seems to be working ok now.
