Good day Heinz,

may you please describe more precisely what you mean with this, for what purpose it may be useful (not just for You) and how you can imagine this feature may works in Locus? Thanks

Hello Menion, thank you for your quick answer.

I have a camera without gps. If I could record tracks with timestamps (each trackpoint has a timestamps) I could easily find out, which pic I have made in which place. I think, there are apps, who do this automaticly.

Kind regards

Heinz

Hmm, I'm more then sure, that Locus do this automatically as well!

How you then plan to merge your photos with correct location? Export track from Locus into GPX file and in some PC program geo-localize your photos thanks to times in this GPX file and times in EXIF info right? Really suggest to try to record a track in Locus and then export to GPX file. Times should be there!

Also be careful on possible different times in your camera and in Locus (Android device).

Sorry, I tried to open the exported gpx file but it can't be opened by any of my programs: I tried googlee arth, magic maps and GPS Track-Analyse, they all cannot open the gpx-file.

Hmm this is really surprising. May you please upload your exported file here, so I may check it? (maybe compress it to zip file, otherwise this help desk will refuse to upload gpx file here).

Thank You for your help!

I created a new GPX, but it seems to contain no timestamps. What is wrong there?

Thanks for your help and your infos again. I didn't know, that GPX-files always seem to contain what I call timestamps. This is because KML-files can easyly be editet, but GPX-files not.

But now I know how to handle it.

Thank you all
