Succefully Locus map exported route to OSM failed to be imported in OSM
Hello Locus map team,
I have made the attached route in Locus map, with only manual mode.
When I export directly this route to OSM (Export/OpenStreetMap), I have notification "Process successful" in Locus map, but import in OSM failed.
OSM email :
"It appears your file could not be imported as a GPS track.
Your file details:
File name Bois_de_la_Thielate.gpx
Description Bois de la Thielate
Please verify that your file is a valid GPX file or an archive containing one or more GPX files in a supported format (.tar.gz, .tar.bz2, .tar, .zip, .gpx.gz, .gpx.bz2). Your file may have a format or syntax issue.
Here is the import error: 0 points parsed ok. Do they all have lat, lng, alt, timestamp?"
Note : I export regularly routes from Locus map into OSM in order to update tracks and paths, and it works fine. Until now this problem happened sometines with GPX tracks I import from web (not made by Locus map). Solved by re-routing in Locus map.
The same problem
Hi Rafael,
manually drawn routes are not accepted because they don't contain timestamps on routepoints. Router-generated routes contain timestamps based on automatically generated ETA.
"I export regularly routes from Locus map into OSM in order to update tracks and paths,"
- Locus Map uses OSM-based routers that render routes from OSM data only, so they are useless for updating OSM. Only recorded tracks can help update the OSM route network.
