Locus 3/4 crash while recording on Xiaomi

Long time Locus user.
Since a few months both Locus 3.70.17 and 4.33 closes while recording a track.
Energy optimization is off and "as a service" is on, as always have been.
On Poco X7 pro, Android 16, Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0.3.
Any clue before I cancel subscription?

1) update both apps:
Locus Classic, version 3.70.19: https://bit.ly/lmVersions
Locus Map, version 4.33.0.13 (latest beta): https://bit.ly/lmVersionsTest
2) please get Locus Map permission for all-time access to the location and exclude Locus from all means of battery optimization so that the app can run in the background, see http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:faq:gps_lost_fix_android6. Also, switch Google Services assisted location off in Locus settings - GPS&sensors.
