How to sort tracks by "closest"?
Need Answer
In Locus Classic there used to be a sort option for tracks: "closest" ("nächstgelegen" in German). This option found tracks that passed nearby the reference position - even if the starting point and the end point were far away. In Locus 4 this option seems to be missing: you can only sort by distance to the starting point or to the end point but not by distance to the track itself.
Can you add the sort option "closest" also to Locus 4?

That’s available. Go to the library, click on the magnifying glass (search function) at the top, and then select the ‘nearest’ tab/button.

OK thanks. Is there a reason, why this special sort order is not available in the menu for sorting? All other sort orders are there, but this one is missing.

The new library in LM 4 offers far more options than in Classic. You can set a different sort order for each folder or subfolder, whilst still having quick access to "nearest" and "most recent" at any time.
