Protected area boundary no longer shown
Answered
Since the latest Google Play vestion 4.34.1, the extents (or boundaries) of protected areas are no longer shown on the map (LM4 Gold). Screenshot attached shows what used to be displayed for the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park (found using the search finction). Now I can't seem to get the highlighted area to be shown using the same workflow.

Hi Mike,
unfortunately, your screenshots did not get through to us so I can't evaluate which map you use. I can see the protected boundaries clearly in the online LoMap and also using the search:

Hi Michal
Thanks very much for the reply. Screenshot now attached, which is the offline version of the latest Spain LoMap. Interestingly, I can't get the highlighted area to show on the online version either (like you can)! I can however see the border of the park in the online version of the map (like you pointed out), but it's not shown in the offline version for some reason!? My wife's version of the offline LoMap showed the highlighting area until she updated to the latest version yesterday; hmmm. For now I can use the online version with the boundary indicated by that dashed line, so that's a big help. Do you know of any setting that needs to be set on to see the shading, or maybe one has to be online? Thanks

Oh man! Further to the above, my wife's version is now working just like yours, as she is back online. I've tried making my settings the same as hers, but am still not getting it right. I'll report back if I find the missing link...

Okay, found the culprit! I had "Settings > Points & Tracks > LoPoints > Loading Mode" set to "Offline Only". It should be set to "Automatic" for the protected areas to be shown.
