Hello, a recurring error is: while driving a planned route, 8/10 times the current position and the map direction in the direction of travel are lost. In this case, it is necessary to press the "Update position" button several times. Please check. I will try to downgrade to the previous version.

How do you "drive a planned route" when the Lite version doesn't offer navigation yet?

I plan on my laptop, to the library from the library on my iPhone, the route is visible, and I follow the route. Only the point showing the location isn't constantly up to date; it has to be updated by pressing a button. It's bad fun while driving.

The location has to always be centered (the dot in the center of the centering button), otherwise the location is not followed by the map screen:

When you shift the map, the location centering is lost. That is a normal behavior. Don't move the map and your location will stay centered. We've just tested it.

While driving, I don't move the map, I just drive and at some point the centering turns off and the position even wanders off the screen. I just tried it. Often after changing the direction of travel.

Just tested in a car. No problem. Do you happen to have the phone overheated? It sometimes happens that some systems are put on standby when the system decides that the temperature is too high, see https://support.apple.com/en-us/118431
