Display by filter gone?

Not a Problem

Recently, locus map had a fatal crash. After starting up, no map, no points, no nothing was still there.

Apparently it forgot the storage location which i set to internal memory but the media folder (so that i can for example access the nmea logs or add epsg2056 coordinate system).

After fixing this, the offline maps were back, but still no points at all. After a synch (which takes ages with my 20k points), everything was back.

However I'm now missing the very very handy feature of filtering points by distance. I don't see any mention in the release notes and i sincerely hope it wasn't removed but just some setting has become garbled..?

I had a good look through them but don't find anything related to this feature

Where has it gone?

Hi Matthias,

The points filter is in the Library menu. More info: https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php/manual:user_guide:my_library#filtering.

Ah thanks for the hint, found it. I was looking for the saved filters via "Filters manager" which is well hidden - due to the crash, apparently my filters also got lost.

btw, do you have any idea what might have caused this total crash with a revert to the internal Android/data folder and even after switching back, loosing all stored points and most settings?

Hi, we can analyze the crash from a system bugreport created immediately after the crash. If you have one, please send it.
