thank you for the report. We have corrected the data, and the updated elevation files for hillshading are now available for download.
Unfortunately, there is currently no mechanism to remove previously downloaded elevation data from the device. Re‑downloading simply skips files that are already stored on the phone.
There is a workaround: reinstalling the app - but please note that this will delete all Locus stored data.

Oof, that's pretty unfortunate. I wouldn't want to redownload all maps.

If the data in question is in the SRTM folder, it can be deleted. If I manually move the data there on my PC, I'll be asked if I want to overwrite it.

Yes, the already downloaded elevation data can be deleted manually, but the process is quite technical and involves editing the Locus Map working directory. There is also a risk of accidental data loss. If you still want to proceed, the steps are:
