Just moved to Locus4 Gold after many many years of Locus3. I manage 1000's of points in my database, so perform many interactions. I often want to move a point from one map to another. That normally was:
click on point --> move to --> select map --> back
Now it is:
click on point -->move to --> select map --> (no more submaps) Select --> move down the window that shifted up
So how to get rid of that sub map stuff? I notice it in more functions and it just is annoying. Should I flatten my 'Library' so it is I do not have that top map. Now that shows 'Points' and 'Tracks'. That used to be 2 tabs, quite convenient...
I feel I will have some more questions because of this move, but lets start here.

thank you for your question. Yes, there is a difference between the libraries in Locus Classic and Locus Map 4. In Locus Classic, the library was divided into two separate tabs: Points and Tracks. Locus Map 4 introduced a new approach, where instead of these two tabs, you can create multiple folders and subfolders that can contain both points and tracks together. For example, you can create a folder called “Vacation 2024” and store all related tracks and interesting points directly inside it, making it easier to organize your data by topic or trip. You can create your folders directly in the root directory. Then you won't have any subfolders.
