Good morning. I'm using the Garmin smartwatch app to follow routes. It works pretty well. However, there is a small lack: obviously the most important feature for a watch is to see the time. On the screen you can find the direction, how long it is until you arrive, the indication to follow. However, as I said, the current time is missing. every time I want to know what time it is I have to exit the application and then re-enter. I don't think it's difficult to add the time on this screen.

That's not how it works with Locus. You need to contact the app's developer.

Good point, but on some Garmin models you can long-press back button to go to watch mode without stopping the Locus Map app in the background. What model do you have?

scusa il ritardo. Non avevo visto la risposta. Ho un fenix 7 solar edition. Grazie per la risposta. In effetti in questo modo esco dall'app garmin. Il tutto però è scomodo. Non credo sia impossibile aggiungere una voce importante come l'ora nella schermata .E' un po come se , nello schermo dell'auto per far posto al navigatore scomparisse la lancetta della velocità. Sai quante multe o quanti incidenti.

sorry for the delay. I hadn't seen the answer. I have a fenix 7 solar edition. Thanks for the reply. In fact, this way I exit the Garmin app. But it's all inconvenient. I don't think it's impossible to add an important item such as the time on the screen. It's a bit as if the speed needle disappeared on the car screen to make room for the navigator. You know how many fines or how many accidents.

With long-press you should leave the app and see your main watchface, but with another short-back button click you will jump right back into the Locus Map app again. That is really useful if you use the app just to see navigation or guidance screen without running activity recording. In case you have activity recording activated, no matter whether via watch or via mobile app, you can see time on top of activity recording screen withing the app itself. Is this what you were looking for?

I don't want to place time directly to navigation or guidance screens as there isn't enough space for it and it might be also confusing with Time-to-arrival data which is shown there.

BTW, I just noticed now, that Garmin broke feature to move active app to the background again so if you run activity recording via the watch when doing this, the activity recording is interrupted. But that is on Garmin devs.. But you shouldn't encounter the issue if you follow solutions above.
