Add "Live Pocket Query" and more options of the cache filter

Hello,

I am a long-time user of your Locus Map application, which I use for geocaching.

It is a pity that the product is no longer being sufficiently developed in this area.

I would like to suggest a basic feature that is currently missing and could be added:

I am referring to the "Live PQ" (Live Pocket Query) function—specifically, the ability to download caches into the app based on a Pocket Query configured on GC.com (live status, meaning no manual export from GC.com is required; the query is simply executed based on its definition, and the caches are downloaded).

Alternatively, you could expand the cache filter in Locus Map to include the remaining parameters available on GC.com.

nápady od našich uživatelů musejí nejdříve získat podporu ostatních, než začneme s implementací. Z vašeho ticketu jsem proto vytvořil nápad, pro který lze veřejně hlasovat. Pokud nápad získá širokou podporu, můžeme jej realizovat.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the question, but that function does exist, doesn't it?

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I’m familiar with the existing PQ feature in Locus — it imports a previously generated GPX file from Geocaching.com.

What I’m suggesting is “Live PQ”: running a query based on the saved PQ criteria and loading the current results online directly into Locus, without having to generate a GPX file on Geocaching.com beforehand. That is the key difference.

Alternatively, extending Locus’s search filters to include the remaining criteria available on Geocaching.com would also address my request.

I hope this makes it clearer what I mean.

Ahoj,

připojuji se k této diskuzi. Budu psát česky, protože Locus je český projekt a myslím si, že na jeho fóru by čeština měla mít své místo. Kdo bude potřebovat překlad, může si text snadno přeložit.

Funkce, kterou zde navrhuje Otta, by pro mě byla velmi užitečná. V současnosti tuto potřebu řeším pomocí jiného programu, jehož výstup následně importuji do Locusu a ještě ručně upravuji. U větších sérií keší je to poměrně pracné a časově náročné.

Myslím, že tento tlak na čas a rychlé zpracování dat dobře znají hlavně lovci FTF.

Proto bych velmi uvítal, kdyby se podobná funkce „Live PQ“ objevila i v jinak skvělém programu Locus. Výrazně by zjednodušila práci a ušetřila spoustu času při plánování i samotném lovu.
