Dotted bike style gone since 3.9.1?

Since the last update (3.9.1?), the bike theme displays every cycle route as solid purple line, independent of it's hierarchy and mostly without any label unless you zoom in pretty close. I really hope this is a bug and not on purpose, because the differently colored dotted style in the previous version was much better

I don't like this ugly old dots but currently pink small lines are not the last solution from Petr - i'm sure :D

I'm sure that it is final solution - at least for next three months :). Honestly it's not final but it is the optimal maximum what it is possible to achieve right now. Better offset will come (meybe) with customized vector maps during or after summer.

PS: go away from the city or do not ride close to motorways :)

I'm sorry for the mess in my posts. However is it hierarchy such important? Do you need to know if some cycle route is national route or international? Would you please give me some use-case?

The labels - current solution should show the number of the cycle route (if is defined).

Well it's more or less the same question, as if you need to know if a street is a highway or a living street, why don't you show them all the same on the map? ;)

Especially local routes are often a mess and after a few hundred meters you can't find them anymore while on the other hand you can expect some kind of quality and consistency when using transnational routes.

Besides that you can easily make out where which route is on the map and where they are going, now you only see a network where _some_ kind of cycle routes should be, even mountainbike routes look the same.

I tried to install an old version of Locus Free to compare the two styles, but it doesn't work anymore with my vector maps, so I can only show you 2 examples I had lying around:

while it's still more or less a mess on this zoom level, you can still identify a few mountainbike-routes in the southwest, a few labeled transnational routes (Eurovelo 6 and 9, Greenway Krakau-Mähren-Wien and Prag-Wien), as well as some regional and local routes. With the new style they look all the same and you can't identify any of them:

The second one probably matches more a typical zoom level:

seems like the last part of my posting got lost

neither of the styles shows any labels, nevertheless I can easily identify the more important Eurovelo (transnational) and Marchfeldkanal-Radweg (regional) and even where they share the same segments and where they split

Unfortunately it's not the rule that the national routes has better ways then local but I can understand your situation. However we've decided to make international and national routes little bit thicker.

MTB routes

MTB are rendered based on difficulty. Scale 0 is rendered like normal cycle way because the terrain is similar to standard cycle ways. Other scale are rendered as dashed line, like small rectangles or with small crosses for the most difficult scales.
