Problem with Geocaching in Locus since July 2015 - "Access token expired"

I'm not able to log any cache. I always receive a message error code 3. The access token is expired.

Sorry for a troubles. Please try to logout in Locus and login again (to geocaching service). It will solve this issue for now.


Important: do this directly in Locus. In Locus > menu > more > Geocaching tools > "top panel". Because logging is integrated directly into Locus, it is not a feature of Geocaching4Locus add-on.

new feature of Groundspeak that Locus incorrectly handle. Please try to logout in Locus and login again (to geocaching service). It will solve this issue for now.

I have tried it but it doesnt help. :-( I have loged out and loged in, but it didnt help.

It very had to find the login/logout. Would have expected to find it under Settings > Geocaching!

If you get bellow error in the add-on:

Error occurs!

The access token is expired

Exception:

LiveGeocachingApiException

In older version (3.7.0) there's no "top panel" (or I couldn't find it).

Then I tried to log a trackable, this fails, of course. But a new menu item appears, a small door. When I pressed on it, Locus asks do you really want to logout, ...

Ops. Looks there is still problem with "Access token expired" - probably two places where you log in with different effect?

I've got this message recently - I was not able to download caches and I was not able to log caches. After loging in I was able to to download caches but not to log them (logs sent from Locus FieldNotes 1.3.4).

Logging out/in again as specified above helped. But it is confusing.

Hello Ivo,


this is correct. Downloading caches is done over Geocaching4Locus add-on (own log-in system), logging of caches is done directly over Locus (also own log-in system). Sorry for a troubles.
