Icon layout customization

Hello,


currently, I have the icon for the "map centering" in the bottom left position of the window. I didn't find the way how to move it on other place.


The reasen why I need it is that I am using waterproof cover, which has problem to detect touch in that position :) I would appreciate to have the switch somewhere in the menu, not only the icon.


Maybe it is there, but I don't know where.

Hello,


unfortunately no such option currently exists in Locus. Whole bottom panel has very limited flexibility compare to other panels.


What I may suggest, is to use "hold center method". Do you know it? Some info about it is here: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_mainscr_ctrl#controlling_the_map , description at button 7. Hope this helps at least a little bit.

I though't I do not understand, but than I got it. I am using this feature. But sometimes I forget to switch the centering on or it gets disabled. I must open the case, touch the screen and close the case.


I know that this is not Locus problem, but my problem :). I am looking for some workaround.


Would be great to have the possibility to add this feature to the right panel also :)

Maybe as an idea:

Menion could add map centering to dashboard functions then you could create such a dashboard for your special case.

Sorry khkarel, this is not possible and even not planned.


@KaHeMu, I was worried, someone will come with this option :), but sorry, this is also not planned for now. Generally there are no planned customization options for bottom panel.
